There’s something beautiful about a life that begins with God. When we put Him first, our goals stop being just a list of things to achieve and become part of a bigger purpose. I have dreams, you have dreams, they have dreams, we all have dreams we are chasing. A better career, a healthier lifestyle, or simply becoming a better version of ourselves. One thing I know about wanting a better version of ourselves is that there will be delays and unexpected detours, but in the delays, God shapes our hearts through every victory, even the smallest ones, and oh, they are worth celebrating, no matter how small.
The truth is, nobody has it all figured out. We experience moments when our plans don’t work, our motivation fades, or we question whether we are making progress at all. Those are often the moments when faith matters most. Trusting God doesn’t mean life will be perfect; it means we can keep moving even when the road is uncertain. Every setback teaches us patience and builds resilience, and every lesson helps us grow. In our growing phase, we care less about proving ourselves and more about becoming comfortable in who we are created to be.
That quiet confidence is a glow. Sometimes we are so focused on the destination that we forget to appreciate the person we are becoming along the journey. Growth doesn’t happen overnight; it comes through small, consistent steps, daily prayers, intentional choices, and the courage to keep showing up even when no one is applauding. I’m sure you notice that every effort you make and every step forward is prepping you for something greater. Hold on tight, everything will fall into place pleasantly. Perhaps the real success in life is not simply achieving our goals but allowing God to transform us while we pursue them.
We are important, but one thing to note is that we can’t be important all the time. Have faith when making decisions, talk to God about it. Be intentional about your growth, and let your life begin to reflect hope, kindness, and joy, not because life is perfect but because God’s light shines through you. Life is not fair, and it’s not supposed to be fair, but through it all I have learnt that the best version of me is still unfolding. With God leading the way, the journey is always worth it, and I will be just a girl trusting God.
